This spring we have had distinguished visitors to our backyard...almost a wildlife preserve if you will.
We have had a whole duck family...mom, 2 dads, and five cute little ducklings. Only now the ducklings are big and no longer warm and fuzzy creatures, but annoying, pooping ones. They have left our pool with a huge mess...lots of poo to clean up. Oh yes and don't forget the smell. I have tried everything, even plstic snakes in the pool. I guess they just love the posh accomodations at Hotel Hueston.
We also had a cardinal's nest in our rose bush. There were three babies that were hatched. One didn't make it. I guess the rest flew off into the wild blue yonder.
While I am a big nature,animal lover myself, duck poo is getting very old.
