Another one......

Sam is our red dachshund that we adopted in 2005. She has some annoying but funny habits.


1. She loves to lick, lick, lick, my skin. She won't lick Stewart's legs...just mine. Maybe it is the smooth skin or of course---I am just sweeter.
2. She loves to run and chase squeaky toys. She has this one favorite squeaky toy in the form of a bone in leopard print. So cute! She will run and get it and bring it to you to toss for her to run after.
3. She hates being dressed up (see above picture). Whenever clothes are placed on her, she will go as still and stiff as a statue until you take the clothes off.
4. She loves her burrow bed. This is a pocket like pillow that she curls up in and sleeps. Anyone getting near it gets a fierce growl from Samantha.
5. She loves and adores people. My neighbors children ---Grace and Joe----call her a rock star....because she always attracts such attention.



Today she is having a herniated disc repaired----even as I am typing. I am hoping that all goes well. Poor Sam---I miss the licking already.
